Greetings everyone!

It is with great pleasure that Lehigh Saengerbund formally invites you to the premier international soccer tournament being held in North America this year: the 2026 Canadian-American Friendship Tournament!

Below you will find the initial information for this year's tournament with additional details to come as it is finalized.

Key Dates:

  • Fri, 15 May 2026 – Welcome Reception

  • Sat, 16 May 2026 – Group Stage Games & Banquet 

  • Sun, 17 May 2026 – Play-off & O40 Games

Team Fee:

  • $1,200 USD

Field Info:

  • Name: First Responders Park
  • Location: 4025 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109
  • Grass surface with space for pop-up tents
  • Ample parking available

  • Bathroom facilities are expected to be built in the spring & be available for the tournament; if not ready, there will be porta-potties available

Hotel

Other Fun Areas w/ Hotel Options:

  • Airport Shopping Center (1870 Airport Center Rd, Allentown, PA 18109) has several additional hotel options nearby and is about a 10-minute drive to the field.  The shopping center features a Target, other chain shops and restaurants.  Across the street from the shopping center, there is an Aldi (grocery store) and additional restaurants and stores.
  • Main Street Bethlehem (505 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018) is about a 15-min drive from the field and boasts a couple of hotels that are within walking distance to more independent restaurants, bars, & shops.
  • Wind Creek Casino (77 Wind Creek Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18015) is about a 20-minute drive to the field and has a hotel attached to the casino.  There are some other hotels not far from the casino and there are shops, restaurants, & bars nearby as well.
